I am opinion about getting one and I am tossed up I dont know if I want the lightning or the firebolt. both the 12 series.

That is a icy call. They are both nice. The lightning, I think looks meaner and would probably be better for native land roads than the Firebolt. Only because the Firebolt offers more wind deflection for drugged speeds. If you're into rippin the turns get a lightning. If you like going 100 mph and I'd consider the Firebolt. Good luck.
By the way, be careful in the turns with that sentiment, the littlest goose on the throttle and you'll spin the rear circle and be eating the ground before you knew what happened. They have a TON of low end torque. Seen it chance MANY times.

The Lightning CityX XB9SX already shares some of the aspect features of Ulysses along with a comfortable riding position. It would be great if it could be tailor-made with the Ulysses windscreen and maybe the high front fender too.

Solidgun 		Buying used 2003 Buell Lightning XB9S and need your input on possible issues?
I found this employed motorcycle locally with only 3773 miles on it. I am not too keen on buying older motorcycles, but I need to save some money for now.
So anyone that have owned this bike on a 2003 model or understand some issues that may be related to it, please give me as much input as possible.
What would be a fair price as well you propose b assess?

The Buell was built from racing machines so they are beautiful quick in the pocket. With only 3773 miles its almost new. They are fun to drive cause they are very torquey and will pop when you record on the throttle. Prices vary of course with condition and where you are geograhically. Certainly the prices go up with higher demand this time of year, especially in the northern states after a desire winter. Good Luck!

Probe out j&p cycles.com. they have handlebar mount systems that can adapt to several types of players/radios/ipods, etc. Don't pay any notice to the nay sayers, customize your ride to suit you, and nobody else.

icehawk... 		Does anyone know the difference between a Buell M2 Cyclone, X1 Lightning, or S1 Lightning?
I'm looking to buy a tolerant of Buell and I keep finding lots of these three bikes in my price range, except I don't differentiate the difference between any of them. Any help would be excellent!
