I'm 6'2 and weigh about 165. The rideing location is so uncomfortable. Even my brothers R6 seems like a cruiser compared to my bike. I'm wondering if there is a way to arbitrate the bars/pegs to get a more upright position to get some weight of my wrists.

When I bought my Ducati 748 the guy I bought it from told me a shopping list of aftermarket parts it had. Some are easy to confirm like the carbon termignoni empty out, and all the carbon fiber body work. I was also told it had a new computer chip and after make available throttle installed,so how do I check for these things? How much did this work cost? And how can I forecast if the exhaust is full or just a slip on? Thanks everyone!

I buy a habituated to bike or two every year when I buy I always want the original parts. That way I know they were precisely a upgrade and not crash damage. Original equip parts are not benefit much second hand so selling a stock full exhaust on ebay will only net you 100 bucks to me it is not merit the time or troule for that ask for reciepts

I covet to have this bike because it's closer to the legendary Ducati 916. Before deciding to attain it. I just want to know how worth it is to be bought than any other conventional bikes.

They are even wiser than a 916 in a complex set of turns, you will need to sit on one to see if you can fit (unfortunately I don't) and you will desideratum powerful forearms if you ride through commuter traffic – at briskness the wind on your chest will take the weight off your wrists, a strong left wrist is required for the lay hold of anyway.

From an aesthetic point of view they are prettier than any modern bike, but from a reasonable pov the electrics were dodgy on earlier models.

I am growing to put a deposit on a bike next week, but I am confused. I have three choices.

2000 Ducati 748. 12,000 miles, needs bodywork. $3700.
2003 Ducati Fiendishness 620ie. 4,000 miles perfect. (owned by worlds promote female certified ducati technican.) $5000
2006 Ducati Monster 800 4,500 miles, dent in tank. $5000

I am preference towards the 748 becuase of price and it's a true sportbike. The monsters don't seem as under control, plus the 800 would be a lot on insurance.

What would you get?
The 748 is at a salvage dealership. It's yellow with a gold edge, but I would mend the bodywork with sheetmetal, bondo, and paint the bike suite of rooms black.

Armthehomeless-the only thing I would need to buy to fix it is a can of bondo, some sanding pads, and a old china to paint the fairings at a bodyshop. Shouldn't be more than $500. I'm reasonably good with bodywork, I just don't have a paintgun.

You can't tell the 748 is crashed besides it missing a replication and the lower right fairing is cracked...the clutch cover is banged up too.

Was the 748 crashed? Is it well maintained otherwise? Even if you state with aftermarket pieces, that can add up pretty quick. 3700 seems steep for that year if you have to put 2k in it to overstate it look right. It would still be my choice out of this group though. The S4RS is the only monster i've ever indeed liked. The smaller ones look weird to me. But then again, you look peculiar to me, so maybe that would be a good fit.

Edit: flat black on the gold box in would look good. only thing I would want to know is the status of the title. If it has ever been listed as deliver or rebuilt, it isn't worth half that price. If the title is still immaculate & clear, go for it.
