They're beatiful bikes, quality great, handle great, and have awesome torque. It's the bike that won the The public Superbike Champion for Ducati 6 times from 1994-2001. However, it's primarily a zip bike and has a very aggressive seating position. If you plan on riding it on the avenue, make sure you don't have a bad back or sensitive butt, because you're guaranteed to not like the positioning. It's inhuman to take long trips with the bike without getting fatigued. The bike also has higher than as a rule maintanence costs, so if you aren't comfortable wrenching on your own, be prearranged to shell out $$$ every 6000 miles or so.

They are even less ill than a 916 in a complex set of turns, you will need to sit on one to see if you can fit (unfortunately I don't) and you will emergency powerful forearms if you ride through commuter traffic – at run the wind on your chest will take the weight off your wrists, a strong left wrist is required for the power anyway. From an aesthetic point of view they are prettier than any modern bike, but from a expedient pov the electrics were dodgy on earlier models. | |

If it was made by Harley Davidson , OCC or Jesse James I wouldn't even believe it a motorcycle. If I had to choose five to put in my garage. 1. Vincent Black Shadow 2. Ducati 900SS 3. Kawasaki Z1 4. Norton Commando 5. Bimota Tesi PS I exceedingly don't mind HD's as I have ridden lots. They are just not my sentiment. Hate narrow minded idiots though. | |
