I checked with a confederate of mine who owns a Duck, he said it can be done, but it is a pain in the butt. He ended up buying a set of hi-pro pipes. If you fantasize any modifications to the exhaust, you MUST have your fuel injection tuned, otherwise you will damage your engine in a in a word amount of time. Try looking for a powercommander or something in that order to tune your fuel injection, or you can just now take the bike to the dealer and have them tune it for you. Hope this is of some help | |

stay ebay of course, but there isn't a whole lot of transactions with that bike so you might not find your exhaust system. Check the back of motorcycle magazines. as a rule there's a whole bunch of salvage companies with ads in the back. contact them or just google search for motorcycle retrieval parts. good luck. also, check a ducati dealer. maybe one of their customers changed out their systems and didn't guardianship to keep the stock system...you never know unless you ask.

http://www.parts411.com/acbasp/stores/1/mark.aspx Go to search and type in ducati exhaust. They don't have as much for Ducatis as they do the japanese bikes, but they do have a few. Akropovic makes a excessive exhaust. Nice tone without being overly loud. D&D are extremely loud. Haven't dealt with them as far as one is concerned, but Termigoni seem to be the pipe of choice for Ducati guys. One of the meanest sounding pipes I have heard is Virago. They sound angry without being excessively loud. I assume you are looking for a lose one's footing on. It will still give you a great sound without the added cost and need to get a power commander and coordinate the bike like a full system? Also, what model do you have? | |

I went with the Yoshi for my 636. It's not obnoxiously noisy but it has a nice deep rumble.
