Justin c gave the most beneficent answer. Instead of rubbing them on concrete (that could ware them crooked, or to choppy. Decreasing the pad to rotor fa and diminish the stopping power of the brakes), score them up with a wire thicket or coarse sandpaper. Then clean the pads and rotors with "contact/brake" cleaner (elbow at auto parts and bike shops). You should clean them with contac/brake cleaner to shift and microscopic brake dust particles. You'll see how dirty the rag gets after using it. | |
