What are the differences between the Harley Davidson Sportster and the Harley Davidson Dyna? |

The Sportster is a smaller lighter bike with a smaller motor,(883) or (1200) The motor, chief drive and trans are all a shared unit. The Dyna is a "Big Twin" 80" (1340) or an 88" for newer models.The motor is a segment, the primary drive is a unit and the trans is a unit. The Dyna is a longer ,bigger and heavier bike than the informal. Sportsters are ( usually) a first Harley, a stepping stone to a big twin. Some never out grow them but most do. My old lady rode her 1200 for a year or so,then we got her a FXR which is be like( But superior ) to the Dyna. These days I see many chicks on big bikes so as a woman you may start on a Sportster and graduate to a Big Clone just like the boys do. And yes guys who ride Sporties from age to time will get some grief for it.

Not dark, just different. Heavier, and different CG. It won't take long to get used to. But do get Euphemistic pre-owned to it before riding 2-up. Your size won't be an issue, I'm 5'9" & 135lb. on an FXD. | |

you have the inconsiderable...i hope...with that in hand you just push the button 2x fast to demobilize and once slowly to arm...hope this helps

How do I remove the battery from a 1999 Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide? |

1.Slaughter Seat 2.Unthread bolt and remove battery negative strand(blk) from battery negative terminal. 3.Unthread bolt and remove battery cheerful cable (red) from battery positive terminal. 4.Remove lower hindquarters bolt.(the one pointing in horizontal on the bottom of battery holder) 5.Remove northern rear bolt (the one facing verticle) the battery tray will waggling down allowing the battery to be removed. 6.Remove top cover assembly. 7.Dismiss side cover if present. 8.Lift battery from tray I've removed mine and its not that bad when you get active on it. Ride safe | |
