Depending on how indurate is was ridden and how well it was maintained you should be able to get more mileage than that on an engine before it would need a rebuild. I was reading where one HD rider had 200,000 miles (333,000km) on an Evo motor without having to rebuild. But more realistically the average is around 100,000 miles (170,000km) This is based on sustained term owners that I've known over the years. As far as price, you should call around to new shops. | |

60 some horsepower? Low throne height? Relaxed steering geometry? They may be a little heavy, but you would quite be fine on any Harley cruiser. I like the Harleys that aren't for poseurs though. The Dyna is a extensive basic motorcycle that isn't trying too hard. The non-custom versions of the Sportster at the same. I am also a fan of the E-glissade Standard. They are all a little expensive for what you get, but they are still good basic bikes.

Take your key fob and deny down the button until the turn signals flash twice. (it's now armed) the red key beat on the right side of the speedo will slowly flash. to disarm the bike click the key fob button twice. the sack signal will flash once to tell you it's disarmed. try both fobs to mention sure that they work. also change your security pin code on the bike otherwise the erstwhile owner could take your bike back by disarming the system without the fobs. Get a copy of the electronic marines manual for your bike and it will tell you how to do this, or you could take the bike into a dealership and have the service sphere do it for you. | |
