tt1charger 		Is it Honda Magna or Honda V45 Magna in 1984?
I keep getting conflicting tidings on the internet about the 1984 Honda known as V45 Magna 750 or just Magna 700. I've also looked at a few for sales marathon and some say just Magna and some say V45 Magna. Did they have both in 1984?

bigbass240 		How do I switch to the reserve tank on an 83 Honda Magna V45?
I am also having an electrical ungovernable with the bike. There is a new battery but the bike never has enough power to start. If I thoroughly up jumper cables the bike starts with no problems. But once I shut it down it won't have enough power to start again. The alternator seems to be working good since the fan and lights work while the bike is running. Seems the battery isn't bewitching a charge which is unusual because it is 2 months old. Any ideas?

Take needs to engage sooner. I believe it's hydraulic. Motor is a VF700.

you can't very adjust hydraulic clutches, you may get away with adding a washer to the power push rod
you'll have to remove the clutch slave,
then you will see the push rod.
the puzzle is going to be trying to keep the washer/spacer in place, may be a little dripping of metal "loctite" might be the answer
when its in place it should always have a bit of incline on it from the slave, so shouldnt go anywhere, and its easily removed, if need be.

im just uploading a directions for you now, so ill post a link, when its done.

Al 		Where is the oil dipstick located on a 1982 Honda Magna V45 motorcycle?
I rightful purchased this bike, my first bike, and was wondering as if anyone could help me. I also want to positive how many spark plugs it has....the bike has a 750cc engine....and a exceptional looking bike she is, for her age.....can you help????

Magna's are V4 engines spirit four cylinders, so four spark plugs. Now as far as the dipstick....bikes either (almost always) have a dipstick on the bottom of the fill cap, look on the crankcase for a screw out cap. Or they have a sight window to examine oil level, look at the bottom of the engine next to the footpegs for a small clear window that you can see oil in. If it's a window the bike must be on the centerstand to survey oil level. I've had both the V45 and the V65 in the past, but i just can't remember. Daydream this helps. EDIT- By the way, the magna's from honda are excellent bikes, stylish and very unfailing. And VERY powerful for a first bike!! Be careful and stay vertical!!!!
