how do i winterize my kawasaki 750 jet-ski? it is an older model? |

This is how I winterize my Yamaha. Fill up the nourishment tank and add the correct amount of Sta-Bil gas stabilizer. Also fill up the oil tank. Start it up on land with the alternative water flush on it and run it for 5 minutes. With it still running turn off the gas and turn off the unstintingly. It should die out in about 30 seconds, during that time you should rev it up a bit to get the rest of the water out of it. after it cools down slam withdraw the plugs and shoot in some fogging spray, give it a crank. Remove and preserve the battery, coat the engine and everything else inside with silicone spray. Slay all the cables and reverse bucket hinges with some Bombardier anti corrosion widening. Wash and wax it and let it dry. Go to the hardware store and buy some plastic sheeting to cover it with, then put the tarp on that. Don't use the habitual cover as it leaks some and you could end up with some mold in there. Store it with the trailer nose raised up as high-pitched as you can so any water does run out the back. Trickle charge the battery once in a while over the winter and have a good-hearted one!

it is as likely as not back pressure through the exhaust system. If the skis were used in beach settings your ehaust could be filled with sand. it plugs up the enervate as it heats and makes the ski over heat. Pull the entire exhaust system and bury the hatchet e construct sure it is clear of debris and sand. We had the same thing happening with one of our Yamahas. once the tire out system was purged their were no furthur problems. As in all marine engines, they are more sensitive than auto and motor bike engines. look into your fuel filters, plugs and the diaphram. all could be contributing. Running skis full occasionally in a commercial business really lets you know how important alimony can be. If you are not someone who is just using the skis on holiday you need a real assets c incriminating evidence mechanic. Make friends with him. you will be seeing him alot. | |

Call your native police station, they will probably have a couple of hoops for you to jump through, but you will undoubtedly be able to claim ownership of the ski and sell it with papers, which will likely give you more folding money. You can say that the item is abandoned and ask how you can go about getting the title. Likely, they will just charge you post an ad in the paper that says that the item has been found, then if no one responds after a few days, they will get the baptize for you.

I've seen them take some serious billingsgate, but I'd pull it in a warm garage and winterize it now if I could. Depending on the exemplar, you have to fill the water box with RV anti-freeze and blow out the lines. Follow your P's manual. It may not be a problem, or it could run up a few hundred dollars in damage. You just never be informed.
