Parts are not studiously to find, but you need to be prepared. You first need to get a parts book. You can get microfich online from ebay or you can buy the genuine parts program kawasaki dealers use. Go here http://pages.123-reg.co.uk/kawasakipaul-578847/kawasakipaul/id1.html for more report on that. You can buy the program from the link on this page and that site has many of the parts you need in stock. You will be squandered without a parts program as most parts people you deal with are younger than your bike. Some are just too indolent to do the legwork for you. Once you know what part number you need, you will be able to find it. The most difficult part to find may be the diaphram on your petcock. It's for an auto shutoff so you can business around that. You can also replace this with a later model petcock unless you are restoring this to new persuade. When this bike was new there weren't many aftermarket parts for it, so you won't find any now. For the carb, you only trouble two parts to "rebuild" it unless it has broken or missing parts. The sail valve used in your bike was also used on dozens of others including vulcans and eliminators. The part million is 16030-005. You can also use 16030-025. The other part you need is the gasket. You can find these on ebay if your dealer can't get it. It also fits the S2, KH and F6-F7 carbs. Part compute is 16019-013. You may have to shop out of the country to get some of the parts you need, but 99% of the parts are out there. You may wish to sell this bike to a art-lover and buy something newer. | |

wow, a ZX-9 in Manilla, when I was there I saw nothing larger then a 350 suiting someone to a T bike. Heck almost all the motorbikes looked like what was sold here in the USA during the 70's, 175-350cc gauge bikes. Considering how slow everyone drives there I guess that's all you trouble. I bet you can outrun just about everyone (cops included) with no problem. As for parts good good break as few people have that bike there, you might have to import the parts from Japan most likely.
