welsman1 		Does anyone know where I can get 'risers' so I can raise the height of the bars on a Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 ?
It's a 2005 paragon and I want to raise them by about 2 inches and bring them towards me. The handlebars are a sort of aggregate one piece unit with a flat fixing to the forks.

Curious... 		Would you recommend the Moto Guzzi 750 Breva motorcycle?
I've ridden my friends '02 Breva 750 and impartial absolutely loved the way it handled. I'm considering buying a new '08, but objective was wondering if current or previous owners would recommend it and what they liked and didn't like about it. (I don't yearning a Harley Sportster, they are too heavy and I don't like the styling for me).

Robert C 		How is a Moto Guzzi as a first bike?
I exactly turned 40 and I have always wanted a motorcycle. I've taken the course and got my document. Now I want a Guzzi. Either a Griso 1100 or a Breva 1100. Given that these are neither super irresponsibly nor extremely powerful bikes, would they be ok for a beginner? why and why not?

They're adroit nikes. Don't kid yourself about their capabilities. Maybe compared to Japanese litre bikes, they're less strong, but they can out accelerate any car, and have top speeds that exceed most riders skills and most road conditions. They are more up-market to maintain, but still are reasonable. They are smooth and sweet handling with great torque which is what you long for. I wouldn't hesitate to get one, as long as you're willing to recognize that if you as a beginner drop it, even at low or no speed, you'll be damaging a very nice bike. A lot of people vouch for cheaper bikes to start out, but I just went for it, and wouldn't splutter to do the same again. Have fun!
