About to purchase a Piaggio "Fly 50" scooter. Anything bad to say about it?
I've cranium about its slow acceleration rate, but I think it's normal for 4-cerebrovascular accident scooters, isn't it? Anything else?
Ps. Yes, my first scooter

The Fly 50 is an first-rate machine, but the downside is that it's 4-stroke so in a lot of situations it is dangerously underpowered. If you propose to do long rides, if there are a lot of hills where you live, if you want to carry a commuter and/or you weigh more than 160lb you should consider the Fly 150 instead- it's only a few hundred dollars more and much more well posted on. I ride a 125cc scooter and I've taken it places you could never get to on a 50. If you do paucity to go with a 50cc I'd recommend the Kymco Super 9, a two-stroke that will go ~20km/h faster than the Fly 50.

I am looking for a 150cc scooter and need help deciding between Kymco, Piaggio FLy, or a Honda Scooter. Help!?
I want to use it for commuting and want something that is good quality but don't need anything notion. I love the looks of a Vespa but also have seen some nice looking Honda Scooters.
The Piaggion is by Vespa and its a bit cheaper than the largest Vespa Model. They are Italian. Can you tell me why the Honda is good.

Hand over me, I am a major scoot buff. I have done plenty of research concerning scooters, and I can betray you right now that Piaggio is the way to go.
I myself am going to Purchase a Fly 150 sometime before October 15, since Piaggio has a promo active on for college students in which you get a free top case and $50 gas card with the support of a Fly 50 or 150. Piaggio scooters have the exact same engine as Vespas do, they condign lack the steel body--they have a steel frame, but plastic stiff. Piaggio owns Aprilia (Scarabeo ringing a bell?), Gilera, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, and Derbi, among other companies. They positive what they are doing. Vespa has been around since the 40s, so you can rest assured that Piaggio *knows* how to build a substantial, dependable scooter. Also, it's Italian, so it'll be sleek, provocative, and long-lasting.
Kymco is a good scooter, too. It's Taiwanese, and my cousins in Holland have had problems with their Kymco People, so I don't grasp. It's a good name, though. However, it is not Piaggio.
Honda is an amazing company. Very reliable cars, motorcycles, and scooters. For oneself, I don't like the way Honda scooters look in the States (I don't conscious where you live, so I'm assuming the US), but I have seen some beautiful Hondas in Italy when I was there a week ago, and would overlook at the opportunity to buy one if Piaggio was out of the question.
I would rate the scooters in this order:
Piaggio (by a long tot)
Honda
Kymco
If you live outside the US of in an area where the Piaggio Liberty is present, I would strongly recommend that particular scooter over the Fly. I saw *so* many Liberties in Europe when I went there earlier this month, and I heard that they are the top seller in Europe. Anyway, the Fly is a very palatable model which will last you quite some time. However, the decision is ultimately yours.
Your Fly will cost you give $3600 after shipping costs and the labor to put it together have been added (trust me--I went to my restricted Vespa dealer yesterday and got the price). Pretty pricey, but well benefit it.
Good luck with whatever choice you make!

i disbelieve you get one specifcially for any scooter or any make of motorbike for that matter. however you cna get GPS that are sutitable for bikes (garmin Zoom comes to crazy)
of course you coudl 'always' get a bluetooth/fm transmitter like the Garmin 600/700 series which rebroadcasts on FM and lend an ear to to the instructions on your headphones, keeping the Gps itself wrapped in plastic in a pocket or rucksack.. of ambit you sould only do that if you were stationary and not moving.. (wouldn't you)
