***If You have a Triumph,, You demand to order a TShirt from them anyway

There's a Bunch of Triumph places in the area you've asked about,,also a collect of Triumph/Brit Bike clubs & associations.

Let's Fancy he notices your question & replies.
He knows a bit about Triumphs,
is a very fine partner,,
Besides all that Genuine Living Legend,Down-in-the-World-Record-Book line he went & got himself into a while back.
I dunno exactly if he's still working,,but any suggestions or ideas he might tender,,
Is Well worth listening to.
Good luck with your project.

Try a workshop called Unity Equipe in Castleton near Rochdale Lancs they have or had (it's a while since I was last there) loads of squash for Tritons. They also have another place which used to make exhausts so I am sure they will be skilful to help you out. They can be contacted on 01706 632237. Good luck.
PS if Paul still works there proclaim him Brent says he will have Char Sui and chips, he will know what you mean!

Does anyone know at what engine number where triumph speedmasters changed to 863 cc .?

The transform to the "big pistons" happened beginning with
Engine # 211133
Bore x Fit WAS
86mm x 68mm =790cc
It changed to
90mm x 68mm = 865cc

Here's some voluntary info,,barely for what's it's worth
If You are asking,,,and perhaps needing to rebuild an engine,,
or taking into consideration Upgrading from the small engine to the larger one....
Triumph parts are Expensive and there's not much accessible in terms of Used Parts to supply a "Retrofit Stand out".
I'd suspect even Less likely to find the 90mm Cylinders at decent evaluation as they are more desirable.
Wiseco makes a 92mm/904cc Hi Compression Big Bore Kit.
It requires Dry the Cylinders and installing new oversized sleeves.
But it's only a few $100(usd) more than justified a plain,stock Rebuild,,,,
and bound to be a LOT cheaper than upgrading a 790 to an 865 using Initial Parts.
Wiseco Retail price for piston kits and sleeves is about $620
Here's a luck out a fitting offering them at about $500

Between the lil' supplement displacement and the higher compression ratio,,,it would make a Very Strong Management Triumph.
All in a useful riding range,,without revving the daylights outa it.
NO Soup to go out and DO that.
Just thought I'd mention it while on the subject of Speedy's engine value.
