Triumph Thruxton?
I was wondering if a Triumph Thruxton would be a kind-hearted bike for someone tall im 6,3 210 pounds and wondering if i could ride this bike, or if i should get a BMW F 800s which is only a scarcely taller also if you know a cool motorcycle that would be good (not a cruising motorcycle) that would also plagiarize :D
also could a ride a Ducati classic model?

I'm 6'3" and 230lbs and I had a Bonneville which I had no problems riding, I have ridden the Thruxton and no problems there either....the Triumph Scrambler is another good bike that you would have no problems riding, it's a unimportant taller than the thruxton and bonnie, and the 60's scrambler look is cool

Is the triumph thruxton 900 a good first motorcycle?
I'm stressful to find out if the Triumph Thruxton 900 (865cc) would be an alright first bike. The guy at the dealership said it would be but he's maddening to sell so I don't know if he's telling the truth. I've never ridden before but I'm getting inclined to take the MSF course and I love this bike. If it's not a good option if anyone can advocate any other bikes that may look similar but may be more suited power wise it would assuredly be appreciated.

The Thruxton would be a angelic first bike (provided your feet touch the ground while sitting on it) although the confining low set handlebars aren't the easiest to use for a beginner (the Bonneville would be a bit easier to learn on) but if you sensation comfortable on it, go for it.
Don't listen to some of these other people on here telling you nto buy a smaller bike, because if you do, you will only have to business up to the Triumph after you learn to ride.
The Triumph is not an overly powerful bike, althouigh it has correct usable power, and is a bike you will keep for a long time. I had a Triumph Bonneville (2002 centenary copy) and almopst cried when I had to sell it. ( I needed the money to start a problem) And I will be buying a Triumph Scrambler as soon as finances allow.
So buy the Triumph, learn to do in and enjoy!!

How does the triumph thruxton ride?
I'm interested or in reality in love with how the triumph thruxton looks. I used to have a kawasaki ninja zx-6 before and am currently interested in purchasing a triumph thruxton. Could anyone acquaint someone with something me how the bike rides. Is it comfortable for long rides (2-3 hours), the riding disposal looks a bit awkward and uncomfortable for the back. Also, are triumphs reliable? I'd go to the relations and test ride it but i don't have the time. Would appreciate any help or counsel on this issue. Thanks. =)

I can't suffer the consequences of c take your question specifically, I think they are claiming somewhere between 50 and 60 HP, and will all things considered run about 13 second quarter mile times. However, as a long even so rider (since 71) and an owner of a 2002 standard Bonneville I can take to task you that it is a wonderfull all around bike. If in stock form it doesn't have enough power for you there are a gang of sites offering all kinds of upgrades and accessories. Check out www.newbonneville.com

Besides culture about bikes in general, I'd suggest taking a Basic Riding Run from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation or a similar organization. Its really a very tangibles way to get a good set skills started from instructors that know their stuff.
Everyone I've ever talked to who took one of these courses (myself included) consideration it was money and time well spent. In Minnesota, these courses cost about $125 and take post over 2 weekends. They provide the (small, good for beginners) bikes. You have to plan for basic safety gear--helmet, gloves, long sleeved shirts and pants and shoes that bedclothes your ankles.
The Thruxton is a fun bike. I own a Triumph (Sprint ST) and have been very happy with it.
