i have a 660 raptor and a 700 raptor. The maintance I do is a spot more than the dealer requires but I ride them pretty hard. I change the oil every 15 hours, I metamorphose the coolant every 4 or 5 times i go out. Check the spark plug, and the gear oil oft-times. I love them raptors, have fun

It's essentially the same bike - has been for over two decades. Same tunnel and stroke, same compression ratio, both six speeds, the Raptor is a bit lighter and the Raptor has a bit more travel - yet a puny bit less clearance. Same size tires and fuel capcity. They made some minor changes when they renamed it the Raptor, but they percentage the same basic motor/drivetrain. They Raptor has a different look due to the redesigned plastics. If you are bearing in mind either, take a look at the new Raptor 250 - very quick and nimble. | |
