i have a 660 raptor and a 700 raptor. The maintance I do is a spot more than the dealer requires but I ride them pretty hard. I change the oil every 15 hours, I metamorphose the coolant every 4 or 5 times i go out. Check the spark plug, and the gear oil oft-times. I love them raptors, have fun

http://www.newircusers.com/collect/rk2007_43964_Yamaha_Raptor_Swingarm_Extension.jsp The site keeps changing the pictures of many items they sell. I did see a Raptor extended swingarm - contact them. This site will enlarge to your specifications - http://www.traxatv.com/shopcart/eyeball-swingarm-raptor-p-406.html If you don't viewpoint spending money and like stability, consider an extended arse axle. The wider stance will help prevent your quad from tipping over. I don't grasp if it will hinder trail riding, being so wide.

What is the 0-60 time on a stock 2005 Yamaha raptor 700 atv and a stock 2005 Yamaha YFZ450 atv? |
| A:(from JeffyB) | |

That would depend perfectly on the types of surfaces you are riding on. ATV's are designed for offroad use, so how stable you get to 60 woudl depend on a million different things. Having said this, either of the ATV's you mentioned are very likely the fastest ATV's around. They will scare the S*** out anyone but the most experienced riders.

What is the difference between the yamaha raptor 350 and yamaha warrior (ATV).? |
| A:(from Jim M) | |
|
It's essentially the same bike - has been for over two decades. Same tunnel and stroke, same compression ratio, both six speeds, the Raptor is a bit lighter and the Raptor has a bit more travel - yet a puny bit less clearance. Same size tires and fuel capcity. They made some minor changes when they renamed it the Raptor, but they percentage the same basic motor/drivetrain. They Raptor has a different look due to the redesigned plastics. If you are bearing in mind either, take a look at the new Raptor 250 - very quick and nimble.
